A good life, at every age.

Eugeria means healthy, good ageing. Our foundation works so that older people in Norway can live with health, dignity and a strong sense of belonging.

About the foundation

We believe growing older should be met with curiosity, care and community, not isolation.

Eugeria Foundation Sti is a non-profit foundation based in Strømmen, Viken. We support initiatives that promote physical and mental wellbeing among older adults, strengthen social ties between generations, and spread knowledge about what makes a long life a good one.

We work with local volunteers, organisations and health professionals, and we direct our resources to practical efforts that make a measurable difference in everyday life.

What we do

Our work is organised around four areas that together shape a good and healthy later life.

  • Health & movement

Supporting activity groups, outdoor walks and preventive health programmes that keep body and mind strong.

  • Community & belonging

Meeting places, shared meals and visiting services that reduce loneliness and connect neighbours.

  • Knowledge & learning

Sharing research and practical guidance on healthy ageing with families, carers and the public.

  • Grants & support

Funding local projects and volunteers who improve quality of life for older people.

Small acts, lasting difference.

A weekly walk, a shared cup of coffee, a visit from a friend. Good ageing is built from ordinary moments, and we help make room for more of them.

Dignity
Every person is met with respect and listened to.
Closeness
We act locally, where everyday life actually happens.
Openness
Our resources are managed transparently and responsibly.
